Work Arrangements: Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements, this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (combination of working onsite and telework). Employees in this position who telework will be required to travel to the identified work site at least three times per week or a minimum of 60% of their regular work schedule at their own expense.

The Role
We are looking for a Regional Contribution Agreement Officer (RCAO) to support the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP). The RCAO would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, and Respect, and Creativity.
This position would appeal to someone who demonstrates a great attention to detail and has a passion for providing high quality customer service. You would have good judgment in the analysis of problems and managing a variety of tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
As an RCAO, you would be using your business and financial acumen, to support both internal and external clients in the delivery of the IRAP programs. You could be working independently and/or as part of a team.
Duties may include but are not limited to: responding to client inquiries, producing financial and other statistical reports, administering contribution agreements to firms and organizations, including preparing and reviewing agreements and amendments, reviewing claims and processing payments in accordance with the terms of the contribution agreement, and advising Industrial Technology Advisors (ITAs), signing authorities and clients on appropriate modifications to agreement clauses and undertaking special projects or assignments.
Travel may be required for training, team meetings, and work requirements, as needed.

Education
Successful completion of secondary school education according to provincial/territorial standards.
Candidates with post-secondary education or formal training in areas related to the position such as accounting, financial management or in the legal field, may be given preference.

Experience
- Significant* experience in preparing, amending, validating and processing contractual agreements or other legal documents.
- Recent** and significant* experience providing service to clients in the interpretation and application of directives, policies or financial procedures.
- Recent** and significant* experience using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams and Outlook at an intermediate level.
- Recent** experience with a financial accounting system such as SAP would be considered an asset.
- Recent** experience with a client relationship management system (CRM) would be considered an asset.
*Significant experience is defined as two (2) to six (6) years of experience.
**Recent experience is defined as within the last three (3) years

- Ability to apply high level of attention to detail when reviewing and/or preparing documents.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office including word processing, and intermediate level of Excel for maintaining spreadsheets and generating reports.

Compensation
From $66,713 to $78,715 per annum.
