We are looking for a Project Management Coordinator to support our Ocean Coastal and River Engineering (OCRE) Research Centre. The Project Management Coordinator would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

 

The Project Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting program/project management activities by working closely with project managers and providing expertise on practices, systems and tools in order to ensure projects are tracked and managed efficiently. 

 

Screening Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:

Education

College diploma in a related field.

 

Project Management courses could be considered an asset.

Experience
  • Significant experience with MS Office suite products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and  Outlook
  • Experience using PDF editing software
  • Experience using SAP software or another similar ERP system
  • Experience with providing advice, coaching and/or training to colleagues

  • Knowledge of operational and financial management within a Canadian federal government context
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to provide advice, coaching and training to colleagues
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities on a daily basis

 

Assets:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting, financial and business principles and methods
  • Basic knowledge of Treasury Board Financial Guidelines and the Financial Administration Act

Salary Range

From $58,378 to $68,881 per annum.
