Your Challenge

Looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a dynamic individual with flexibility, creativity and a strong sense of customer service to join our classification and organizational design team.

As team lead, you will be called upon to lead the delivery of organizational design and classification services at NRC and will have the opportunity to contribute to the modernization of our systems.

Screening Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:

Education

University degree from a recognized university in a field relevant to the work to be performed.

Experience

  • Experience in all aspects of classification, including job evaluation and the provision of advice and guidance on organizational design issues.
  • Experience with Public Service classification standards and/or a classification accreditation in the Public Service would be considered an asset.
  • Supervising experience would be considered an asset.

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledge of the key issues and trends in organization and classification.
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, policies and tools relevant to organization and classification.
  • Strong ability to analyze and synthesize information in a meaningful way, taking into consideration various linkages and the ramifications for the organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Behavioural Competencies

  • Management services - Results orientation (Level 3)

  • Management services - Organizational and environmental awareness (Level 4)
  • Management services - Teamwork (Level 3)

Relocation

Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with the NRC's directives.

Salary Range

From $98,533 to $110,031 per annum. 

 

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
