We are looking for a vibrant and dynamic Analyst, Personnel Security to support our Security Branch. The Analyst would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

 

The Personnel Security Analyst will be responsible for coordination and administration of contracting security requirements for NRC in accordance with applicable government security policies.

Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:

Education

Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field. A combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.

Experience

  • Significant experience working with internal and external clients.
  • Significant experience providing advice, guidance and support to clients.
  • Significant experience working with a Government of Canada Personnel Security environment.
  • Basic experience interpreting and applying the policy on government security and PSPC Industrial Security Program requirements.
  • Experience working with Security Requirements Checklist (SRCL) would be considered an asset.

Assessment Criteria

Candidates will be assessed on the basis of the following criteria:

Technical Competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of security requirements and the Industrial Security Program as defined by the Policy on Government Security within the Government of Canada context.
  • Advanced knowledge of the instruments used to ensure compliance of the Government of Canada policy on Security including Security Requirements Check List (SRCL) and Private Sector Organization Screening (PSOS).
  • Advanced knowledge of electronic and computer systems used by Personnel Security: Entrust encryption, security database as well as Microsoft Office applications 2010 or later.

Relocation

Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with the NRC's directives.

Salary Range

From $59,138 to $69,638 per annum. 

 

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
